I don't wanna smile ! ! ! ! !

When things not going your way, you have to smile. When you are tensed, you have to smile. When you lose something, you have to smile. When you are frustrated, you have to smile. When you are angry, you have to smile. When you are sad, you still have to smile. Thats what I am doing since morning, I am smiling. But things are getting harder. I don't wanna smile!
When you lose someone very special to you, you feel like there is no point in being alive anymore. You feel like you have lost yourself. You have lost your identity. Its because your one unique identity is associated with each important person in your life.

Yes Surya ji,
you are very right that we have to smile. But this smile should not be fake. All experiences of pleasure and pain are God's gifts to us. We learn from all experiences and mature in our quest for truth and goodness. However, if we do not feel that our experiences are God's gifts then it can be hard to smile when we face hardships. When we are open to life and accept things as they are and act accordingly ( I mean doing what is needed in a situation to have a positive outcome) then life becomes easier. But if our ignorance leads our life then we can never have peace. So our smile should be a real smile of gratitude. It is hard though, I can understand that. But I think if we practice this sadhana, then one day it will be very natural to keep smiling. Ommmmmmm, Deepa
